Hi I’m Brittni,

I’m usually a very private person, but I know that telling my story might inspire someone else or give them the courage and hope if they’re experiencing the same thing.

On March 17th, 2023, I had an emergency surgery to get my fallopian tubes removed, which means I will never conceive a child naturally. I’m still quite devastated, but I know my tears won’t change my situation so I have to just dry my eyes and keep it pushing.

Last year, shortly after I got married, I had a miscarriage due to an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in my tubes), and that caused me to have scar tissue and fluid built up in my tubes, which stopped my fallopian tubes from functioning and put me at risk for one of my tubes to erupt. My doctor sent me through all kinds of tests which led her to the conclusion that my fallopian tubes are no longer functioning, and I’ll never be able to conceive my own child naturally. I got a second and third opinion from other doctors, but nothing changed so I agreed to have the surgery to prevent other health issues from showing up.

Now my Husband and I are embarking on a new journey, In Vitro Fertilization…. In other words, fertility treatments so that we can begin to build our family, and I can have the child I’ve always longed for.

I’m not sure if you know, but IVF cost almost $30,000 per cycle, and we honestly can’t afford it. We are asking that you find it in your heart to donate, and if you can’t afford to donate, your prayers are just as great. 1 in 8 women experience fertility issues, but it is such a painful topic to discuss so we usually bare it in private with our partners. I plan to share my testimony so that Women all over the world will realize that they are not alone, and we can encourage my insurance companies to cover it so we’re not all burdened with the medical bills.
